1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible

This car received an amateur frame-off restoration 25-plus years ago. It’s equipped with a 265 Power Pack V8, 3-speed overdrive transmission, and power steering. The motor runs very strong and quiet. The transmission and rear end are also quiet. The brakes work properly.

The paint is very acceptable with no bubbling or cracking. All the chrome and stainless are acceptable.There are patch panels in the floor and trunk welded in a non-professional manner.

There are many small issues that need to be addressed: The overdrive doesn’t work. The top goes up and down properly but there is a leak in one of the lines. The heater doesn’t work. The radio doesn’t function. And some of the lights in the dash do not work. It also has two cracks in the windows: Top of the driver side window and the lower driver side rear window (see pictures). The spare tire is present but the jack is missing. There is no battery hold-down. The door panels are installed incorrectly. And there is corrosion on the inner fenders in the trunk.
